Jesus emptied himself of his Godlienesss so he could take on our brokenness. What a blessing!!! Not only did Christ's himility lead to our salvation, it also gives us a compassionate God who walks with us across the river of life's pain while here on earth. This is why Christ's humanity means so very much. Christ suffered, he was angry, he was desperate, he got tired, he felt our brokenness. There is nothing in our life that we could possibly experience that God can't relate to. In every moment of our life we have a God with a deep understanding, a deep concern, and a real compassion for our life's circumstances. In our broken moments we are not alone.
