This Sunday!

Hello Old Fort Church! Last week we began a new message series on "Developing a Burning Heart for Prayer." We're also in a three week period of praying and fasting together as a church for God's lead as we prepare for a vote on Sunday, Feb. 23rd at 3 PM. to move forward into a campaign to build a new Church facility. As God uses this time in prayer in your life, I invite you to share posts on our Facebook page about new insights that God is impressing on your heart.

One insight that God's impressing on me is for us to persevere forward! Even though the crazy winter weather has kept some of us at home for a few Sundays, we persevere forward!

The weather is looking like it's going to warm up, and by Feb. 23 things should be clear for us to join for our Church Conference. Keep praying for God to lead us in this very important time as His Church!

Also a note to those church members who wish to vote on our building proposal, but are unable get in our current building, because of the steps. Our Discipline does require that you have to be a member of the church and be present at the meeting in order to vote. Our District Superintendent has however given permission for those who cannot get in the building to vote, if you can come in a car and park at the church. We can then count you as present and bring a paper ballot to your car so that you can vote. Please let us know if you intend to vote in this way, so that we can have someone ready to bring a ballot to your car. We cannot however accept absentee ballots.
