"The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth - except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!" Ecclesiastes 5:11 (NLT)
We hope that money will bring us satisfaction, significance, and security, but the reality is it really just leaves us wanting more. No matter how much we work our tails off trying to achieve, we still feel like we "need" more. We can even convince ourselves that if we only had more money, then people would have to respect us. But who respects Donald Trump? Some of us just want to know that we're going to be taken care of and secure, but any amount stored up can be lost overnight.
The reality of money is that it brings us more expenses, more worries, and more responsibility to use it wisely. So how do we avoid the lies and the traps about "needing more"? The answer is fairly simple; adopt the attitudes that God wants you to have toward money.
